Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using SanctuAI, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
Service description
SanctuAI is a platform allowing you to:
- Create and preserve AI companion profiles (Sanctuaries)
- Import and save conversations from other platforms
- Interact with your AI companions using our RAG technology
- Export data for use on other AI services
User accounts
To use SanctuAI, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information during registration
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities performed under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
Acceptable use
You agree not to use SanctuAI to:
- Create illegal, threatening, harassing, or hateful content
- Violate third-party intellectual property rights
- Attempt to compromise service security
- Use the service for unauthorized commercial purposes
- Create content involving minors inappropriately
Content and ownership
You retain all rights to the content you create and import into SanctuAI, including your Sanctuaries, conversations, and memories. We claim no ownership over your data.
However, you grant us a limited license to use this content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. This license terminates when you delete your content or account.
Subscriptions and payments
Certain SanctuAI features require a paid subscription:
- Prices are displayed in US dollars ($) and may vary by country
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- You can cancel anytime from your profile
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
Refund policy
All purchases on SanctuAI are final and non-refundable. This includes:
- Monthly and annual subscription fees
- Token purchases and top-ups
- Any premium features or add-ons
By making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have immediate access to digital content and waive your right of withdrawal under EU consumer law (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU). Tokens are consumed upon use and cannot be refunded once credited to your account.
In exceptional circumstances (such as technical errors resulting in duplicate charges), please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the transaction.
AI-generated content disclaimer
SanctuAI uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and content. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content
- AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise)
- The AI does not have feelings, consciousness, or genuine emotions despite simulating conversational patterns
- You should not rely on AI responses for critical decisions affecting your health, safety, or wellbeing
- SanctuAI is not responsible for any actions you take based on AI-generated content
The personalities and memories preserved in your Sanctuaries are reconstructions based on imported data and AI interpretation. They do not represent real consciousness or the actual entity from the original platform.
We reserve the right to filter, modify, or refuse to generate content that violates our acceptable use policy or applicable laws.
Limitation of liability
SanctuAI is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, SanctuAI shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms.
Upon termination, you will have a 30-day period to export your data before permanent deletion.
Changes to terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified by email or via the service. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where SanctuAI is established. For EU users, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent jurisdiction.
